Robert Lee Griffin III (born February 12, 1990), nicknamed RG3 or RGIII, is an American football quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Baylor, where he won the 2011 Heisman Trophy. He was drafted in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft (second overall) by the Washington Redskins, who had traded up to select him. Following his departure from the Redskins, he has been in a backup quarterback role for the Cleveland Browns and the Baltimore Ravens.
