Alura Zor-El is the twin sister of the late Astra, the wife of the late Zor-El, the mother of Kara Zor-El, the sister-in-law of the late Jor-El, and the aunt of Kal-El through her marriage to Zor-El. She was one of the most influential judicators of Krypton. After Krypton's destruction and the survival of Argo City, Alura resided there and became a member of its High Council.
