Antonino Di Matteo

Deputy procurator of the Republic in Caltanissetta and then in Palermo, Nino Di Matteo is now deputy prosecutor in the Italian National Anti-Mafia and Counter-Terrorism Directorate. He investigated the massacres of the magistrates Chinnici, Falcone, Borsellino and their bodyguards, and the murder of Judge Saetta. Several municipal administrations (including Rome, Milan, Turin, Bologna, Genova) have given him an honorary citizenship for his commitment to the search for truth.
