The protagonist of the show. Is a neurotic, sheltered and timid anthropomorphic pink Beagle dog. But, is also friendly and nice to everyone as long as they mean well. Is Muriel's (but not Eustace's) pet dog and will do anything for her. Was discovered by Muriel, as an abandoned little puppy, in the middle of the streets. Has an actually meaningful name, since 'courage' is the tendency to face and conquer one's fear and cowardice (as what Courage does, in pretty much every episode).
