In 1994, writer and artist Jae Lee presented the Hellshock mini-series, a story about a troubled young man named Daniel. As a child born of a fallen angel and a mortal woman, Daniel was caught between the forces of Heaven and Hell. Daniel is a Nephilim born from the union of an angel and a human. As he discovers his true heritage, he also learns that his lineage has given him special abilities. He will need all his powers to save his mother from being dragged into hell.
