Katharine Juliet Ross (born January 29, 1940) is an American film, stage, and television actress. Her accolades include one Academy Award nomination, one BAFTA Award, and two Golden Globe Awards. Ross was cast as Elaine Robinson in Mike Nichols' comedy-drama The Graduate (1967), which saw her receive significant critical acclaim. She is also known for her starring role in The Stepford Wives (1975) and for playing Etta Place in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969).
