Martin James Landau (June 20, 1928 – July 15, 2017) was an American actor, acting coach, producer, and editorial cartoonist. His career began in the 1950s, with early film appearances including a supporting role in Alfred Hitchcock's North by Northwest (1959) opposite Cary Grant. He played the character of Rollin Hand in the television series Mission: Impossible (1966–1969) and starred as John Koenig alongside his wife, Barbara Bain in Space: 1999 (1975–1977). His performance in the supporting role of Bela Lugosi in Ed Wood (1994) earned him an Academy Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Golden Globe Award. #MartinLandau
