Patrick Wotling
Historians (Click Me)Patrick Wotling is a historian of philosophy specialising in Friedrich Nietzsche and a French translator. A former student of the École normale supérieure de Paris (L1983) [1], he is an agrégé de philosophie. In 1991, he defended a doctoral thesis in philosophy at the University Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne entitled Nietzsche et le problème de la civilisation under the direction of François Dagognet [2]. This thesis led to a publication at the PUF. He is a member of the jury for the ENS competition (1994-1998), the agrégation d'arts plastiques competition (1995-1998) and the CAPES competition in philosophy (2007-2008) [3].
