The death of Fernando Iggnácio - ordered by his relative Rogério de Andrade - marks the end of a war between misdemeanors in recent decades. Ex-son-in-law of Castor de Andrade, Fernando was known as the most powerful of the bicheiros, he controlled the company Adult Fifty, a slot machine operator in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro. In 1997, with the death of the mobster Castor de Andrade due to a heart attack, a family dispute started to control the game points of the animal and slot machines in Rio de Janeiro. Iggnácio and Rogério, Castor's nephew, entered a bloody war. Investigations by the Federal Police show that the dispute between the two resulted in more than 50 deaths between 1999 and 2007. In 2001, Rogério de Andrade was the victim of an assassination attempt and Iggnácio was appointed as one of those responsible for the crime. In 2010, Rogério's 17-year-old son died in a bomb attack. The teenager was driving his father's car, which would be the real target of the attack.
