The Party, released in 2016, was the Canadian singer-songwriter’s fourth album. It centers around a fictional party, as described by a narrator who roams through the location, witnessing the stories of several different semi-recurring characters. The tracks are generally mellow, and the lyrics play on the crudeness and hypocrisy of youth. Shauf played almost all of the instruments on the album himself.
