Luxa's maternal grandfather, a Regalian diplomat, and head of the council which rules Regalia until Luxa reaches maturity. Vikus is compassionate and wise, and always believes the best of others. He is convinced that a peaceful resolution may be found in nearly every conflict, which brings him into conflict with many around him, including his wife Solovet and granddaughter Luxa.
